Imagining 2012 – Event Preview

Imagination’s highly anticipated creativity event is fast approaching, and across the country, senior representatives from some of the world’s most innovative brands are likely to be pondering the very meaning of “creativity” and “how important it is to their business” in preparation for the big day.

The one day event will take place on 21st February and will be in two parts. The morning’s session will be an informal roundtable discussion, with focus on the topic “transforming business through creativity”. The afternoon will be open to a wider audience; key delegates have been invited to speak on stage about the influences they think are going to have an affect on their business in 2012.

Experience roundtable: 10-11:30am
This will be attended by representatives from Imagination, RIM, Mintel, BBC, Lloyds TSB, Ford, ASICS, Cosworth and Brainjuicer. And it is likely to be a highly insightful and thought provoking affair; after all, what is the role of creativity in business? Is there such a thing as creative management? And, how does creativity help us to compete?

Experience forum: 2-5pm
Following the morning’s discussion we will be opening up the forum to a wider audience. Six speakers will each be taking to the podium to share their thoughts and industry insight to discuss the question “what influences are going to transform my business in 2012?” Our speakers will be:

Tim Routsis – Cosworth
Mark Coyle – BBC
Michael Price – ASICS
Steve Henry – Decoded
Mark Coyle - Brainjuicer
Paul Simonet / Eddie Braniff – Imagination

To wrap up the day’s discussions, Imagination’s CEO Douglas Broadley will lead a Q&A session, which will be followed by a spot of networking. If you would like to ask one of our speakers a question or you would like to come along please send a tweet to @ImaginationLabs or email lucy.george@imagination.com

We will also be covering the day’s hot topics and bringing the discussion alive on Twitter, so if you would like to join the conversation, use #creativity2012 and @ImaginationLabs. We will try to answer as many of your questions as possible.

But if you miss it, don’t worry. We will summarise the key learning right here on the Imagination blog.
